Silvana Muscio
Silvana Muscio was born in Buenos Aires in 1966. She is a visual artist with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Buenos Aires, and master’s in communications from the Universidad Austral.
Since 2006, she has participated in several group and a solo exhibition in public and private institutions, including the San Martín Cultural Center and Culture House (Argentina), Appart Paris (France), Portal de Luz (Uruguay), Museo de las Mujeres (Costa Rica), Ungallery and Dacil Art Gallery (Argentina). She is the curator of Inspirad@s, a Canadian organization in Toronto dedicated to the promotion of Latin American art. Since 2020 she is part of the women’s collective Proyecto Trasborde.
Her photograph series A una casa de Rosas no te acerques was published in Zoom Magazine. She also participated in PhotoBasel (Switzerland), Zona Maco Photo (Mexico) and in ArteBA and BAPhoto (Argentina).
In recent years Muscio developed several innovations in collaboration formats for projects and artistic productions. Muscio lives and works in Buenos Aires.
