Paola Marzotto was born in Portogruaro, Venice, in 1955. In her teens she moved to Rome, where she studied anthropology and psychology, growing up in the artistic milieu of 1970s.
Paola Marzotto began her working life as a freelance photo-reporter for agencies and magazines in Italy, later becoming an author, TV journalist and producer. At the end of the 1980s she ventured into haute couture and fashion design, and later into politics and activism.
Her exhibit "Antarctica, Melting Beauty" was presented in the Italian Pavilion calendar of the Venice Biennale in September 2021.
For the last twenty years Marzotto has been living between Uruguay and the rest of the world.
